What to wear, What not to wear!
What shall I Wear, What Not to Wear INDIVIDUALS Choosing the appropriate attire is very important in photography. Solid colors that are paired with large pattern or stripes will look spectacular. Stripes and small prints, may not look good in photos, this is why large patterns and solids are preferred. If you are seeking a dreamy look, choose pastel colors, off whites, and soft prints to achieve this look. If you want to achieve a dramatic look, choose colors that are bright, BOLD, and Colorful. Do not be shy when mixing colors and patterns. There is not rule, no limit, be creative! If you want your focus to be your attire, minimize your accessories. Accessories may take away the spotlight from your outfit. If you want your accessories to make a statement, wearing solid colorful clothing is an excellent choice. For children, I recommend outfits with a lot of visual interest. Textures, ruffles, layers, lots of layers over tops, skirts, dresses, jeans, legging. Think outside the box. This is about making it fun; don’t forget they are still kids! I love shoes, colorful shoes, closed toed shoes, with detail, color and bling! Be sure the shoes you choose are appropriate to the season. Personally, I love bare feet photos shoots, you may prefer shoes. COUPLES / SIBLINGS DO NOT TRY AND MATCH COLORS! Coordinate colors, but what you do not want to do is make it seem like you tried and failed! As I mentioned before, todya's trend does not call for matching colors, actually it allows for endless creativity. Accessories are also tricky to pair. Coordinating them equally would be the way to succeed. Ideas for girls – hats, hairpiece, necklace, bracelets, belts, scarfs Ideas for boys/big guys – hats, beanies, suspenders, belts, scarfs Same rule apply as far as color and accessories. Choose one color, two is the max. LESS is more for a family or group photos. May Let mom pick her outfit first and then work around that for the rest of the family BIG NO - NO's! 1. Avoid large logos/printed brand unless for commercial purposes 2. Stay away from pure whites 3. Avoid sneakers of any kind if possible 4. Say no to tee-shirts 5. DO NOT over accessorize
