Canine Angels is a non profit orgainization that provides specially trained assistance dogs to kids and young adults with special needs. Among many other vital tasks, dogs retrieve dropped items, turn lights on and off, open and close doors, assist with balance and physical therapy excercises and get help when needed. Canine Service Team working with their partnership with disabled children. Team training is an intensive two week curriculum in which their new owners - children with Cerebral Palsy, Autism and other serve challenges work with the dogs and their parents so that the "angels" can help them cope with their challenges. Dogs also improve child's confidence, provide companionship and unconditional love.
